💧 DropSats

Tip Bitcoin SV to anyone on X — just reply to their post with @DropSats $3.

sign inSign in with X (identity only — never posts on your behalf) — to see your balance and get a deposit address

🧪 Alpha — use small amounts only. DropSats is brand new and actively being built: the wallet code hasn't had time in the wild, nothing here has been audited, and bsv.cx still custodies your deposited balance and signs sends on your behalf. Treat anything you send here as a small test amount, not savings — if something goes wrong while this is alpha, that's the most we'd want at risk.

technical details Each user has a separately derived wallet and exportable key, but bsv.cx currently holds the master seed and signs transactions for authenticated sessions. A future wallet handshake can remove that custodial step.

How to DropSats
@DropSats $3reply to any post with $3
@dropsats $3case doesn't matter — same as above
$3 @DropSatsamount before the tag works too — symbols like $ and ¢ never need a verb
send 50 cents @DropSatsword units (cents/bsv/sats) DO need "tip"/"send" when they come before the tag
@DropSats 50000 satsreply with 50,000 satoshis
@DropSats coffee / ☕reply with a $3 coffee
@DropSats beer / 🍺reply with a $6 beer
@DropSats 2¢ to @handlesend from any post — no reply needed
nice post! $5 to @handle @DropSatsthe tag can trail a reply too, not just lead it

Dollar amounts ($3, coffee, etc.) are converted to BSV when the tip actually sends — no USD balance is ever held, you're always sending sats.

Parsing is still evolving — we're tuning it live, so an early send may take a little longer than usual while we watch how it behaves. Best effort will be made to act on anything that reads as a genuine, intentional send. Once a tip sends, @DropSats replies on X confirming the amount and recipient — if you don't see that reply within a few minutes, treat it as not sent yet.

Same proof-not-trust approach as every other bsv.cx service — once a tip can lock, anyone will be able to verify it on-chain without taking our word for it.
